Second Nature was founded in 2002 by Scott Poderick and Richard Martin with the merger of their two small landscape companies. The Company began work out of a small house in Sandy with one truck and two employees. With its dedication to on time, quality work and 100% customer satisfaction, the Company prospered. In 2004, Scott took full ownership and moved the company to Sugarhouse. The Company continued to expand its scope of work and customer base, and by 2006 was once again ready for a move. The third and final stop was in its current location in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. At this location the Company will be better able to manage its rapid growth and the need to provide its customers the best possible service.

Over time, with its growing reputation for quality, Second Nature has expanded into a full-service contractor and landscape company, and is looks forward to its future as a leader in the landscape and construction industry.
